Atomic Sunset III, Crosby.

Once was a time that I would offer appologies for uploading another 'Another place' shot from Crosby, well now I did a short series of 'Atomic Sunset' shots, which I have a love hate relation ship with, I mean it seems to matter what time of day and on what screen I see these.
So this is the third upload, sorry. Hopefully you can see different details, tone and light in each, but I wouldnt blame you for saying havent we seen this one... see what you think...

Heaven?... disabled access. HFF!

From the rear of the new Muesum of Liverpool looks to have a ramp, with a zig zag of fences here, (as shot through the building works perimiter fencing), you should be able to see the reflection of the mast of a tall ship that was in at the time along with other buildings reflected in the glass fencing.

Happy fence Friday all!, and thanks for looking.

New Museum, Liverpool.

Something new to house the past.

One of the modern structures that have sprung in to being over recent years, controversially next to the more classic structures that make the three Graces, long standing pillar stones of the world famous and grade I listed waterfront. A clearly modern design that sits in contrast to the previous structures in the area.

I like it and I’m looking forward to visiting with the family, following the official opening in July 2011.

Dreams. (another shot in comments)

The Graphics Processing Unit of a well known console, this chip is capable of taking crystallized data and breathing life into worlds bounded pretty much only by the imaginations and creativity of programmers and artists, and rendering them for the real world to be interacted with.

I love the idea that in photography we try and crystallize and capture the real world. I like that the concept that the GPU is kind of the reverse of the camera.

Saddly this console was destined for the bin, having expired, I was suprised to see that the major chips, CPU and GPU have a mirror like finish.

In shot is an extremly powerful and versitile GPU with its daughter 10 MB eDRAM catching some light on the PCB.

Another from the field, a simple shot, slight crop SOOC.

Its simple but I do like a nice bit of haze at this time of day.

Review.

A shot of my son checking his shot on his point and shoot while out in the 'field'. same field as the previous 'field of dreams' shot.

I like the colour of these fields that are pretty ubiquitous across the UK these days, largely fuelled by the demand for biodiesel.
